In this font from graphic arts veteran Tracy Sabin, his trademark whimsy and playfulness are exhibited in spades. Sabin takes a multitude of influences, from mid-century art nouveau to today’s pleasant dream-pop doodles, and mixes them up into a sweet and animated alphabet that oozes energy, enthusiasm and honest innocence.

Alongside the chromatic and colour-play possibilities that come with two layerable fonts, the jumpy, rough and curly elements that make up Schneeberger’s construct make this face a unique and essential tool for display and packaging aimed at catching the eyes of kids and teens. Use it for fantasy flicks, sugar-fix wrapping, and the elaborate backyard birthday party invite where the program is just as appealing for the adults as it is for the children.

P22 Schneeberger comes in solid (Black) and outline (Regular) variants, each of which containing more than 400 characters, some very cool built-in stylistic alternates, a bunch of ligatures, and support for the majority of Latin languages.

A modern Sans Serif — prosaic, designed geometrically, beautiful in large sizes

All the dimensions of the font are based on Factor 10. The general principle of construction leads to slim forms and nearly equally wide characters. So the font appears very solid but is actually difficult to decipher in longer texts.

Along with the ”normal“ Guhly Regular there are also the two versions Guhly Light and Guhly Bold, whereas in each only the vertical strokes [Guhly Light] or horizontal [Guhly Bold] have been changed in strength. The result is a very individual decorative effect which slightly reflects old circus and western scripts.

The lower case characters in the version Guhly Book are, therefore, optimized to be suitable for longer texts in smaller font sizes — because after all, sometimes you should read a bit more than just the headline…

The design of a shampoo bottle stands behind the creation of this sans serif display font. Prominent, clearly constructed forms with circular arcs define its appearance. This is a font primarily designed for use with capital letters — for all sorts of advertising purposes, headlines and titles.

But lower case letters also belong to a good functional font; so, of course, Guhly includes them and ligatures for the more ”critical“ letter combinations as well as stylistic alternates for the letters K (or k), V (v) and o.

As a decorative “encore”, the Guhly family also contains the “normal” weight in two variants:

on the one hand the Guhly Cutout – these are letters without counter, as if the letters were cut out and the internal surfaces fell out; and on the other hand the Guhly stencil – as the name suggests, a stencil font with the typical bars that give a stencil the necessary cohesion.

Conté Script is a computer font but has the extraordinary look of handwriting. The typeface is exceedingly lively, diversified and distinct thanks to more than 300 different ligatures, i.e. letter combinations. In addition to the letter combinations in Conté Script, there are also double letters and figures included (aa, ff, AA, MM, 22, 66…) as ligatures with stylistic alternates.

Type set in Conté Script appears remarkably similar to a text actually handwritten with a pencil.

The typical style of the pencil — crumbliness where pressure lessens and the deep darkness where the pressure of the graphite in it's fullest denseness smudges — is another earmark of Conté Script. The font appears to be written quickly, fleetingly, casually, as if not really to be taken seriously, and as if it would be written one minute and erased the next. Conté Script looks most ”authentic“ around the point size of 18 to 22.

Roanne is a sans serif family named after a town in France. This font family contains 2 width variations: Normal and Condensed, and all together counts 44 font styles. Equipped with OpenType features (Tabular Figures, Fractions, Stylistic Alternates, Localization for Serbia, Poland and the Netherlands, Case Sensitive brackets) for extended Latin and Cyrillic character set with a small charming set of Dingbats.

For easier usage as webfont, Roanne font files contain numeric values for CSS weight attribute – 100, 150, 200, 300, 400, 500, 600, 700, 800, 850, 900.

Eksperiment is danish for experiment. Without much guessing or knowledge to danish, you probably already knew that! I like those danish words containing a "k" - is it because my name is spelled with a "k"? I don't know - maybe it's because it kind of represents the danish language, which is full of words with "k"s.

Anyway, the reason for the name is that I wanted a font looking like it had gone through tough times, a bad copy machine and perhaps even crumpled paper...but the experiment is that the font is 100% made using digital media. I used my MacBook and my iPad creating this font. I find it quite amusing, that something 100% digital looks like something organic.

I've added 5 different versions of each letter, which is really helpful when working with grunge fonts. It looks more natural, when the same letter rarely repeats itself.

Claire is a family of fonts with sturdy serifs. Several of the weights in the family are optimal for setting large amounts of running texts; the extreme light and heavy fonts, on the other hand, work great together in display applications. The letterforms in Clair have a vertical axis, and their design is reminiscent of contemporary newspaper fonts, as well as late-nineteenth century typefaces along the Century model. Claire includes 12 styles ranging in weight from Thin to Black. Each of those six weights has a companion italic font, too. Claire’s letterforms feature thick slab-like serifs that are bracketed onto their stems. Since the proportions of its uppercase letters are nineteenth-century, they optically feel like they are all almost the same width. The same is true for the numerals, which share the same height as the capitals. The numerals include nice, decorative features, such as flag-like strokes on the bottom of the ‘2’ and the top of the ‘7’. The ascenders of Claire’s lowercase letters rise slightly above the tops of the uppercase letters and numerals. Claire}s x-height is also rather tall. The lowercase ‘g’ in the upright fonts, which is double-storey, has a lovely ear that ascends above the x-height. In the italic fonts, both the ‘a’ and the ‘g’ are single-storey. The italic letterforms also feature especially-prominent ball terminals.
